Thibaut design’s New York City showroom flagship showroom is less than a year old. It operated & managed by Duralee Fabrics (with access to the newly renovated Duralee Showroom). The Thibaut Showroom displays Wallcoverings & Wallpaper, Fabrics, Furniture & all of the sample books in the Thibaut library. The Showroom is currently featuring Thibaut’s Imperial Dragon Wallpaper & fabrics as the focal point of the current showroom display! We love the color palette of this fabulous design!

Kravet, Brunschwig & Fils New York City Interior Design Showroom

Brunschwig & Fils was purchased by Kravet Fabrics in 2011. The flagship new york city showroom was renovated in 2014. The Blue & White Brunschwig fabric is spectacular. The treatment custom, demonstrating true interior design workmanship and skill. Designed by Michael S. Smith, the space is a wonderful oasis for eating a delicious european pastry while review showroom collections, swatches, fabrics, and samples. This showroom is one of our favorites for its wonderful heritage of Interior design and its transitional future. The quality & design is top quality. Congrats to Brunschiwg & Fils and Kravet Fabrics on a tremendously successful brand transition. Brunschwig & Fil has captured a great blend of modern design while staying true to their history & heritage!

Thibaut Design introduces new Thibaut Wallpapers & Fabrics for Spring 2015

Thibaut Wallpapers and Fabrics has introduced the Imperial Garden collection. This collection is full of coordinating wallpapers, woven fabrics, printed fabrics, embroidered fabrics and inspiration. Many of the textiles are based on antique documents and patterns. The collection is inspired by the far east. This bold collection is a great resource of all types of patters: damasks, ikats, chinoiserie dragons and florals. One of the highlights is a cut velvet tiger pattern.

Parisian Design: Fabrics, Furniture & Wallpaper @ paris deco off & Maison et Object

This past week Paris hosted two iconic Interiors & Design Style Trend Shows. Maison & Object features cutting edge Interior Designers, Architects & makers of home goods Paris Deco Off is a show of the fabric Wallpaper & Interior design houses of Paris. For us, We have been inspired by the decor of France Provence & Paris several decades. We’ve had lamps featuring the Eiffel Towel – white this can often be cliché, the right translation of a french symbol or icon can give a vintage or Parisian Flean Market Antique Feel

Displaying Your Favorite Things

Displaying things that you have stories behind or that you have collected is an ideal way to start a conversation. The key is organization, keeping similar items together and keeping them in odd numbers.

You can either organize items by size, or to be artful, mix the sizes up.

Make your colors match! If you have a white collection, place them against a dark background. Collections of a lot of color should go against a neutral background.

If you have bookcases with little to put in them in terms of books, but do have a collection with nowhere to put it, place them into the shelves next to the books, but be sure to make sure that the books will not fall over and damage them and that the books themselves are organized by size and color if possible. Make sure sequential series go in order! Your guests will now not only be looking at your collection, but at your books as well!

Place delicate items out of reach, but in a safe spot, you want to display your collection, not risk its demise!
